Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional. -Walt Disney

Many people think of Disney as a destination for younger kids but I think otherwise. I just turned thirteen and there is never a time where I don’t want to go back. Disney magic has always been a huge part of my life and it always will be.

I am Layne Nelson and I have a huge Disney obsession. I love collecting Disney Trading Pins and of course, Minnie Ears! My mom is a co-owner of the Charming Travel Co. and I can’t wait until I am old enough to join the agency!

I have been to Disney 10 times! I was 4 years old during my first trip and I was last there on my trip in January 2020. I have experienced the 4 seasons of Disney; my favorite has to be Christmas time. It is the perfect weather – it’s not hot at all, and it would be even better right now since you have to wear masks. The holidays are even more magical the halls are all decked out and everyone looks very festive.

My favorite Disney memory was one of our trips over Spring Break. We headed over to the Grand Floridian and went to the Ivy Trellis Salon. I chose a Cinderella Inspired look, I paired the makeover with a blue dress, and I had a Cinderella Disney Bound. Afterwards we went to the 1900 Park Fare and dined with Cinderella and Prince Charming. It is a great alternative to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a more grown up experience.
