We invite you, if you dare, to step aboard because in tonight’s episode you are the star. And this elevator travels directly to . . . The Twilight Zone.

Who doesn’t love the Tower of Terror? Let’s start with some of my favorites on the Sunset Boulevard. I love the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! Even though I’ve ridden it a million times, the drops still surprise me. This ride is a Disney Park classic; they also have it in a few other locations. In Disneyland California they reimagined the ride to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout. Also on Sunset Boulevard is my absolute favorite ride… Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster! You can’t go wrong with this one. You cruise through LA in a limo and have a backstage pass to an Aerosmith concert! You go from 0-60 mph in a matter of seconds and listen to an Aerosmith hit during the entire ride. If you have little ones who aren’t tall enough for the 48′ height requirement you can get a riders swap and those staying behind for the first round can head over to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy nearby. One of my favorite shows is Beauty and the Beast – Live Onstage, this is perfect for Beauty and The Beast lovers! This show is only 30 mins long which is great for breaks. We love to grab a sundae across the street before heading into the show!

Toy Story Land, the only place in the US where you can hang out in Andy’s backyard, opened in Disney World in June 2018. My favorite rides in Toy Story Land are Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania! Slinky Dog Dash is a roller coaster that is perfect for toys of all ages! You ride on Slinky’s coils on a super smooth track. Toy Story Mania has been at Hollywood Studios for many years and is a crowd pleaser. This is an indoor ride where you wear 3D glasses and shoot targets to challenge your family and friends to see who gets the top score! Plus, there’s a super cute wall at the end – perfect for your Instagram photoshoot!
Let’s move on to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This place is amazing; it looks like you are actually in the movies. I am so sad to say that I have not got to experience Galaxy’s Edge yet, but my mom and other family has. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is my Uncle Nick’s favorite ride! In this ride, you are in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Any Star Wars fan will love this! Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is an immersive experience where you drive the fastest ship in the galaxy and travel through hyperspace.

Star Tours is actually not in Galaxy’s Edge, but is right outside it in Echo Lake. This ride is so much fun that we have ridden it multiple times in a row. Did you know that there are 700 possible ride experiences? This is a 3D motion simulated ride. Something you must do in Echo Lake is the Frozen Sing-along! When you aren’t singing along you are laughing your butt off! This is actually one of the first shows to open back up, it will open on October 5!
There is also a new ride on Hollywood Boulevard, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad! I have not ridden this ride in person either, but Disney posted an at-home video experience on their social media and I watched that a few times. Hop aboard the train and enter the cartoon world of Mickey Mouse. This is a silly ride and it is great for all kids – young and old.
Join me next Monday for my favorite rides and attractions at Animal Kingdom!
