The smell of sweet spice, the gorgeous fall colors, Mickey pumpkins, kids and characters in costume…and so much more. This is Halloween at Disney World! Like everything else in 2020, things look a little different this fall at Disney…starting with the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party (MNSSHP).

Thankfully, Disney has decided to bring the perks of the party to Magic Kingdom all day! Starting in mid-September, Disney announced that everyone can dress up in full costume all day at Magic Kingdom. Costume rules still apply, but this is such a fun way to show your Halloween spirit and let your creativity shine!

Since reopening in July, the best way to see your favorite characters is through Character Cavalcades. Though you can’t hug them or get autographs, the new cavalcades are a great way to see lots of characters in a short amount of time! As a bonus, you can now see your favorite characters in costume in the cavalcades! Through October 31st, you can see Jack Skellington & Sally on their own float – which is super exciting since you can usually only see them during MNSSHP and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Disney has also a Villains cavalcade with some favorites, like Gaston, Evil Queen, and Maleficent!

Lastly, Disney is bringing some of the most amazing treats (that are usually only available during the party) to Magic Kingdom! From the Hades Nachos & Cinnamon Donuts at Pecos Bills to the Pumpkin Spice Waffle Sundae at Sleepy Hollow – there are sure to be some delicious treats for everyone! Check out the Disney Parks Blog for a full Foodie Guide!
