She is a former licensed attorney and had been practicing law for more than 13 years when she found this new fun job! Hilary is truly a kid at heart and her family trips to Universal Studios and Walt Disney World are just as much for her as her kids. She loves all things Harry Potter and is a proud Hufflepuff. She also loves a good Disney musical (Encanto and Frozen 2 at the top of her playlist) and all of the Star Wars movies.

Behind the Agent

Hi, friends! I am Hilary. I live in Lexington with my husband, two kids, two dogs, and two cats. As a family, we love a good road trip and are always up for an adventure. We also love movies and have a movie night at least once a week. Outside of travel planning, I have a passion for advocacy and I am always looking for a way to help.

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Australia. Pretty much as soon as I saw that I could cuddle a koala, I knew that was the place for me.

I became a travel planner because I genuinely enjoy learning about different travel destinations. It doesn’t feel like work to research and learn about all aspects of your travel destination to help you have the best trip ever.

My best advice for someone going to Disney for the first time is to be flexible and let go of your preconceived expectations, especially if you have young kids. Disney is the best place to let the magic hit you, rather than trying to force it yourself. You should absolutely have a good plan so you are not walking around aimlessly, but be ready to pivot if necessary. Our best Disney experiences have been the product of good planning and willingness to enjoy the time in between the plans. My kids do not respond well to being rushed from one thing to the next and I suspect they are not alone.

Encanto.  I pretend that its only on when the kids are in the car, but that’s a lie.  When alone, I have my own Encanto karaoke show.
