Behind the Agent
Hi, Carrie! Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi! I’m Carrie. I’m a Human Resources Professional living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and I’m married to an amazing husband and we have a daughter, a cat, and a dog!
I enjoy traveling to new places and our family enjoys Disney Destinations whether by land or sea!
I was formerly a Concierge and Disney Annual Passholder which has given me great insights into navigating the hospitality world.
What are you most excited about with the future of travel?
I am really excited for the upcoming opening of Universal Parks’ Epic Universe and Universal Kids Resort! My family and I are huge Nintendo fans, so we can’t wait to experience the new Donkey Kong Coaster. I’m also thrilled to hear about how Virgin Voyages is taking steps to make their ships more environmentally friendly. It’s great to see companies taking action towards a greener future.
Why did you become a travel planner?
I want to help families create memories that will last a lifetime!
What advice would you give someone going to Disney World for the first time?
Enjoy the moment, take a minute to take it all in, the sights, the smells and the things you have been dreaming of. It truly is a magical place!
What is your favorite non-theme park destination?
My favorite non-theme park destination is Tortola, British Virgin Islands. I love Tortola because it is stunning, the locals are kind, so many things to do, and so laid back!
What is your favorite place to eat when you visit the parks?
At Walt Disney World Resort, Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is known for its amazing bread service and views of the animals crossing the Savanna. At Universal, The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen is the perfect place to indulge!
