Hi, Mary! Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi all, I am Mary! I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, and currently live in Geneva, Illinois. I have been married for 14 years to my husband, Tom, and we have 4 boys. We love to travel as a family and we are all avid Disney lovers. One of our favorite things to do is cuddle up as a family and enjoy a Disney movie night or play Disney Trivia! I also enjoy being outside, playing soccer, and organizing.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to South Africa or Australia. I have always been fascinated with going on a safari trip to see all of the animals in South Africa in person. Australia is an interest of mine to also see all of the animals there, as well as see what it is like to travel to the other side of the world!
Why did you become a travel planner?
I became a travel planner because it combines many of the things I love – planning, organizing, helping others, and Disney! I have always loved planning all of my own family’s vacations, and I would love to help others plan their own vacations!
What has been the most memorable trip you have been on?
My favorite trip thus far has been on the Disney Dream cruise! I really enjoyed all of the planned activities we had to choose from, all of the amazing food available, and most importantly, all of the time I got to spend with my family!
What is your favorite non-theme park destination and why?
Aside from anything Disney, my favorite destination to travel to is San Diego, California. My husband and I went to San Diego on our honeymoon, and we have traveled there several times since. It is “our place” and we have loved sharing it with our kids!
What Disney soundtrack can you listen to on repeat?
Disney soundtracks play all of the time in my house! I love them all, but my all-time favorite is from Beauty and the Beast – my favorite Disney movie!
